Where They Belong

We all know by know that the Phillies have very little fight in them. The Mets are back atop the NL East again, alone. Where they belong. If you look closely, you'll also notice our 'anemic' offense has scored more than the 'Murderer's Row' offense of the Phillies. Also more than anyone but the Cubs. Without Daniel Murphy's eight, we'd be two behind. Keep it up!

Of course, Phils pitching is better than the Mets, so their 'horrible' pitching has outpitched the Amazin's.

Watching the Mets blow so many leads this year makes one wonder how much fight they have, really.

Mets outscore ya early, then get outscored by a ton in the final innings. Is that a lot of fight, or a lot of punishment?

No one was touting the Mets pitching as godly. And I wasn't commenting on the Mets fight, merely that the Phillies play like they don't know what to do with first place, and can't handle the big game.

Ceetar..

Not great news on Wagner's arm today. I still think this team will be OK though...

I wouldn't mind Maine being shifted to the bullpen if his shoulder can take it. Me may be even more reliable than Wagner in a big game.

Pedro's been pitching a lot better lately -- actually like a respectable No. 3 -- and I'll take Santana and Ollie at the front of my rotation any day.
